You asked for it, you got it! Now you can have up to 30 dancers sliming each other on your dancefloor and have multiple controllers rezzed.
Enhancements in 1.5 include:
As always, the update will be sent to you via Caspervend but you always have the option of going to the Spot On Store to hit the redelivery terminal to receive the update. Updating your current system is easy using the included Updater.
Version 1.4 has the following changes:
Today we're sending out the Club Mover Update - Version 1.3 which fixes a bug in the HUD where Pause failed to work.
To update your current Controller without having to redo everything, see these instructions: https://www.spotonsl.com/club-update.html Be sure to replace your Calling Post with the new version. As usual, Caspervend will be sending you the updated version automatically or you can go to the Store and click the Redelivery Terminal to receive the newest. Today we're sending out a update for the Club Mover System with support for 25 dancers now (up from 20), a couple of enhancement features on the HUD (mirror and dot), a few bugixes, and a floor space example to check the size the formations will be on your floor.
Please expect an update from Caspervend to be automatically sent to you but if you can't wait (or were in busy mode), you'll need to go to the Spot On Store and slap the redelivery terminal. Check the CHANGELOG notecard in the folder to see what the enhancements, new features and bugfixes were. Have fun! Today we're sending out Version 1.9 of the Group Formation System which fixes a couple of bugs, main one being version 1.8 broke a functionality:
NOTE: Adding or removing movers on the fly should not be used while playing a recording or with the Performance Director. Caspervend will automatically send to customers who purchased the Group Formation System or you can come by the Spot On Store and click the Redelivery Terminal at the landing point. 1.8 fixes an issue that sometimes happens on laggy sims where movers would rez but not move into their positions and wouldn't invite dancers properly. That no longer should be a problem with this update. Your update will be automatically sent through Caspervend or you can come to the store and click the Redelivery terminal.
In April, Linden Labs announced that premium members could pay to have their legacy user names changed. If you have given permissions in any Spot On product configuration notecard (such as Stage Manager or Costume Assistant), and that person has changed their user name, you will need to change the name in the notecard. Do not use display names!
Also, just as an FYI if you changed your name, don't be shocked when people on your friends list IM you to ask..........who are you?! Animate and move your guests on the dance floor with the latest tool from Spot On, the leader in Second Life dance equipment. This exciting new product allows venues to experience the powerful dance tools Spot On has brought to professional stage dancers right in your own club, in an easy to use "drop and go" package. Check out all the details HERE and stop by the store in world for a LIVE DEMO TEST DRIVE!
We’ve started seeing reports of people having issues with Choreography Designers, where the waypoints rez, but do not link to the design ring. We have investigated this problem and determined it’s a manifestation of some ongoing issues with object rezzing in Second Life.
We encountered this issue at the Spot On store on 3/13 and we restarted the sim. After the restart, object_rez events were working normally and our designers began working as expected again. Inara Pey has a good description of it in her blog, specifically the section on “CONTINUING OBJECT REZZING ISSUES." Linden Lab is aware of this issue and is working on a fix. If you encounter this issue, the best things you can do are: * Restart the sim if possible. If you are not an Estate Manager, this may not be possible. * File a support ticket with Second Life, so the Lindens know you are impacted by this issue. * If you can, try using the designer on a different sim. We will continue to investigate these issues and keep you advised as we find out more. |
