Personalize / Configure Mark Your Stage Pack Your Set At the Show Editing Sets Troubleshooting Updating FAQ

PACK YOUR SET

CAUTION:
Do not use "no copy" items in your set.
Do not use the Stage Marker that comes with Performance Director HUD with the Stage Manager Rezzer.
Be sure you have marked the stages where you will perform as well as where you build your set.

1,  Create your set to include animations, movement and stage design as you normally would.  Be sure Stage Manager Rezzer is present near the set when using Choreography System "GET NOTECARD" (remember, it now acts as the Stage Marker).  Give all of your set items a name, making sure none are called "Object."

If using more than one Mover, change their names to make them shorter and descriptive, for example, Mover-Gal, Mover-Rug, etc.

Try to link as many of the items on your stage set to make as few pieces as possible.  Although you can put hundreds of items into your Rezzer, it is faster and more reliable to make as few pieces as possible.  DO NOT link Choreography System Movers to anything unless they are to move an object during the show.  You can link your Group Formation System controller to other objects however.
NOTE:  If you're not sure what the Stage Marker does, it tells your Choreography System Movers exactly where their start positions are on the stage.

2.  Place the Spot On Stage Manager Object Script 1.0 into each item on your set, including your Choreography System movers.  If you try to put the script inside a root prim called Object, the script will immediately delete itself and give an error in local chat.
IMPORTANT:  Give each set piece a unique name, including your movers if you have more than one Choreography Mover in the routine.

3.  Left-click the Stage Manager Rezzer and choose "GetNotecard" on the menu.  Look in Chat History (Control-H) and you will see something similar to the text below.  Check to be sure all of your set pieces are listed.  Copy the text shown below from #BEGIN NOTECARD to #END NOTECARD.
Picture
NOTE:  If you have more than 10 set pieces, the coordinates will come out in two or more segments.  Be sure to copy all segments and delete the text in between the segments leaving only one #BEGIN NOTECARD at the top and one #END NOTECARD at the bottom.

4.  Create a new notecard and paste this text into it (or use the Example-Set notecard already inside).  Save the notecard and name it something descriptive of your set but give it a short name to fit on the menu button.  Drag this notecard into the Contents of the Stage Manager Rezzer.
NOTE:  Do not place an unopened / unsaved notecard into the Rezzer.  It will not read it.

5.  Pick up your set pieces, one by one, into your inventory and then drag each piece into your Stage Manager Rezzer contents.

6.  Left-Click the Stage Manager Rezzer and click "Rez a Set" on the menu.  Select your newly created set.  Your set should rez exactly as it was before you picked it up!   Notice that the bottom ring is now glowing indicating that a set is rezzed.
NOTE:  The Stage Manager Rezzer will not rez two sets at one time.  If you try to rez another set, the Rezzer will immediately de-rez the first and rez the second.

7.  Left-Click the Stage Manager Rezzer and click "Clear Stage" on the menu.  Your set will now go back into the Rezzer and the bottom ring glow will be off.  You can now pick up your Stage Manager Rezzer.
