UPDATE YOUR STAGE MANAGER

When you receive an update, you can simply use the new copy of the Stage Manager which will come in the update package for any new productions.  To update previously made sets, simply rez the Updater that comes with your NEW package and follow the directions below.  You will also see the directions in local chat.

UPDATE THE REZZER:
  1. Rez the Stage Manager Rezzer on the ground.
  2. Rez the pot On Stage Manager Updater next to it (the one newly received)
  3. Click the Stage Manager Rezzer and choose "Upgrade" on the menu.
  4. After a few moments, you'll see "You may now pick up your Stage Manager, enjoy!" in chat.  It is now safe to pick up the Stage Manager Rezzer and the Update Tool.

UPDATE SET PIECES: 
  1. Rez the Set
  2. Replace the objects scripts in each item with the 1.3 object script.  Make sure you delete the previous version of the object script!
  3. Click the Rezzer and select "GetNotecard".
  4. Replace the contents of the existing notecard with the new data.
  5. Replace the Objects in the Rezzer with the updated version.


The Updater will deliver a notecard to you which lists the updates and bugfixes, if any.

Note:  
If you press "Upgrade" on the menu of the Stage Manager Rezzer when no Update Tool is present, it will look for approximately 60 seconds for the tool.  If nothing is found, you should see in local chat:  
"Spot On Stage Manager - Rezzer: The upgrade attempt has timed out, resetting without upgrading."  Until you see that text, it will say it is busy attempting to update in local chat when a menu button is pressed.
