Spot On Crowd Dancer
The Spot On Crowd Dancer is a device to help you run large scale dances. Hundreds of dancers can be supported.
This is not a stand-alone system. A Spot On Dance HUD (Performance Director or Smooth Dancer) is required to use this product!

Key Features

Limitations
- Requires Copyable dances. Only dances with the "Copy" permission can be used with this product. The user will get an error if they attempt to use "no copy" animations with this system.
Getting Started
Step 1: Prepare your HUD
Step 2: Rez your first Crowd Dancer
Step 3: Copy your Crowd Dancer
- Rez your HUD in world.
- Load all of the dances you wish to use into this HUD. Note: Dances used with the Crowd Dancer must be Copy Permission!
- Drag the script "! Dance Relay - HUD Plugin 1.0" into your HUD contents
- Pick up your HUD and ADD it.
Step 2: Rez your first Crowd Dancer
- Rez a single Crowd Dancer.
- Configure options in the "!CrowdConfig" notecard inside. See References below for options.
- Ensure your Crowd Dancer has a "@spot_dancer" number. Use "1" for Smooth Dancer and appropriate numbers for your Performance Director dancer numbers.
- Your Crowd Dancer will automatically sync (copy) the dances from your HUD. Wait 4-5 minutes to ensure all dances have synced.
Step 3: Copy your Crowd Dancer
- Make as many copies of the Crowd Dancer as you like. Freely adjust the dancer number, color and other options as you wish.
- Crowd Dancers may be linked together and packed into a rezzer (such as the Spot On Stage Manager), or they may be used unlinked.

Configure Options
This section documents all the options that can be used in the "!CrowdConfig" inside the Crowd Dancer. To disable a feature, enter a hashtag (#) before the text on the line. @silent_mode When enabled, non-error messages will be suppressed. @spot_dancer <number> Pick the dancer number used by the Crowd Dancer. "1" should be used if you are unsure what value to set here. @text <string> Sets the hover text that will display above the Crowd Dancer when a user is not sitting on it. @color <color> Select a color and texture for the Crowd Dancer. Valid colors are: blue, green, orange, pink, and yellow. @glow When enabled, the outer edges of the Crowd Dancer will glow. |
