CONTROLLER - CONFIGURATION SETTINGS

Add / Delete Movers While Movers are Rezzed
Great for club use!  When movers are rezzed, left-click the controller and choose "Add Mover" or "Delete #" from the pop up menu.  "Delete #5" for example will delete Mover #5 (not five movers).  The controller will automatically load the appropriate formations card and move accordingly.

NOTE:
- Should not be used with Performance Director or while playing a recording.

Feature Parameters

There are several features you can enable by a simple edit of the !!Configuration notecard inside the controller. Edit the notecard before rezzing the movers!

The feature parameters have already been included in the notecard, you just need to delete the "#" (hashtag / pound sign) at the beginning of the line to enable a feature.  Add the # to disable.

Example:
Disabled:    # @hidecontroller
Enabled:     @hidecontroller

NOTE:
Above each parameter is a brief description about the parameter to help you.  Be careful not to delete the # before these comment lines.

Do not disable the Offset parameter.

In most cases, changing the Channel is not necessary but if you do, you will need to edit both the Controller and HUD !! config notecards and wear a HUD for each channel.

@channel 2

Used to receive communications from the HUD.  Default Channel is 1.  You will need to edit the HUD as well.
You can have multiple controllers moving differently by wearing two (or more HUDS) and configuring them on different channels.  Enable this feature on the controller and make it any channel number besides 0.
In the HUD, edit the !! Configuration notecard and TYPE IN A LINE AT THE BOTTOM: @channel # to match the channel in the controller.  Reset the scripts in both controller and HUD and it will now only control the controllers on that channel.

Example Channel number in bottom of HUD notecard:
@channel 2

@hidecontroller
Makes the controller and mover floater text invisible.

@hidetext
Hides the floater text on the movers.

@centeroffset <6,0,0>
This setting will allow you to change where, in relation to the controller, the Movers will rez. The
default is 6 meters directly in front of the controller, centered and ground level (if that is where the controller is).  The movers will then have these coordinates as their center point when using the RESET button or the center dot on the HUD's directional arrows.

You can change the coordinates by changing the <X,Y,Z> coordinates.
X = forward/backward
Y = left/right
Z =up/down

Example:
<4,-2,1>
Movers will rez 4 meters in front of the controller, 2 meters to the right and 1 meter off the ground.

@mirror
To have this controller mirror another controller's movement and formation patterns (along the Y-axis), enable this parameter on one controller only.  Place the two controllers a suitable distance apart, both facing the same direction, and control them with one HUD.

@controllernumber 1
Allows the Controller to work with the Performance Director.   <--learn how here!
Also allows automatic dance invites to be sent for Smooth Dancer.
When this parameter is enabled, mover numbers will then be recognized by the Performance Director as Spot Dancer Numbers.  It also will number the movers sequentially for multiple controllers.

Example with Two Controllers and five movers rezzed on each:
@controllernumber 1    <---Movers numbered 1 through 5
@controllernumber 2    <---Movers numbered 6 through 10

ADVANCED OPTIONS

WARNING:  These options can cause your controller to malfunction if used incorrectly.
Do not "uncomment" them (remove the # sign before them) if you do not understand them.

@alwaysshowmenu
Always show the menu for this controller, even if it's not controller number 1.  Enable this when there is no controller number 1 on this channel.

@manualoffset 1
Manually control the dancer number offset for this mover.  This changes the way dancer numbers are assigned to movers and overrides the controller number value.  This value will be used for the dancer number of the first mover rezzed.

DANCING ON A WALL OR CEILING

You can position the controller at 90% or 180% angles from the floor.  This means you and your troupe can dance on the wall or the ceiling!  Slight angles, such as 45% will not rotate properly however, so be careful there.
